This poncho style Weighted Vest provides proprioceptive feedback and stability. Therapists may adjust the dimensions of the vest as well as the weight to meet the needs of each child. The Vest comes in a number of sizes and is designed with side and shoulder openings, allowing flexibility in size adjustments and a set of weights is provided with each vest allowing the weight to be evenly distributed within pockets located along the bottom of the Vest. Shoulder weights are also available that attach directly to the outside of the vest running vertically from front to back, allowing the therapist to remove or adjust them during therapy without removing the vest. These weights also attach to each other allowing them to be stacked for a concentration of weight. The proposed approach is that an Occupational Therapist will recommend the appropriate vest size and weights that are specific to the needs of the child. We will then supply this direct to the customer.
